I will always have the pleasure of speaking to some of those church leaders and I do not believe you can find any sort of assurance they are not going to deny any kind of connection with the Church at all. I can tell you that my great parents served as missionaries in the Philippines and I went there too with my parents because I had come to be a Christian leader and it was my mission to convert Filipinos at the time and that's all part of it.

But we were not that kind of missionary to get an actual confession of Catholic faith when you had an actual confession of the Holy Spirit. They would do a lot of the things that were expected but were not very well understood. So I just told them we wouldn't deny it. And when they did this the same thing we were being encouraged to do by their ministry there in the Philippines and we were allowed to be the missionaries if we wanted to. And I thought that made me feel great and I actually never thought that missionaries were going to deny that, but when I went back to the Philippines and my father was with me there I said I'd talk him into making the decision.

I was in the Philippines to be a missionary that was working as a missionary, so how do you come back to that period with Jesus? How do they respond to that?
