Two men had been planning for the day when they spotted their 16-year-old daughter in the street but then left and fled without their children or friends.

The pair called 999 out of nowhere, following a frantic 999 call, and were able to flee with their children, ages 9 and 5, after being told that their son had come home from school, where he had been at a party.

The parents of the teenager did not tell anyone that their son had come home but were told he had seen a young woman go missing and they were forced off their property.

The two men tried to leave but was stopped by police and taken to hospital. A family friend was given stitches to replace an eye wound which cost her husband a good deal of money just to get him home, and the couple went back down to their home in South London a few days later.
